I know I’m slacking. I seriously think I have only like one person left who even checks this blog anyway. But I do use it for milestones and whatnot. So here I am. Milestoning. What? Eh, who cares. My kid can write!

Grace can write letters. Honest-to-goodness from the Alphabet letters! Real letters! Not made up ones from a pretend game! But things like A and B and C! And numbers, like 1, 2 and 3! She’s a freakin’ genius. For real!

I could not be more proud. We’ve been sitting her drawing letters in all sizes today for the last hour or so and I’m just tickled pink by what I’m seeing! She’s proud of herself too! I see the way she claps a hand over her mouth when I get excited about her perfect G or her beautiful 2.

It’s been a long couple weeks since she started school. Me driving all over town and back and being so exhausted the whole time. And today I finally see where its paying off.
