It’s been a long time since I caught everyone up on what was going on in my life. Well, just this last week Chris, Grace and I flew to Phoenix for my 10 year High School reunion. Talk about a blast from the past. Unfortunately, I sent Chris off to get dinner while we were there and he ended up taking the camera. I forgot to get it before he left so I have no pictures, but I have some being sent to me. Probably none of me because A) I was up front socializing and greeting and B) Chris and I left fairly early since we were quite tired already (at only 10:30).

What a trip though.. It was quite a turnout, which I was excited about since I had a hand in putting it together. We must have had about 100 people turn up. Not even half of our 350-student graduating class BUT seeing as how we only had contact info about for 100-120 thats pretty good. It wasn’t nearly as uncomfortable as I thought it was going to be.. and I was probably more tipsy than I intended to be.  Maybe that made it less awkward for me.. It also probably made me a little more outgoing and talkative than I needed to be. Oh well. It’s only what? Every 5 to 10 years?

We also got to catch up with family and some friends and we ATE A LOT. Luckily we still made some time here and there for some exercise. It was a pretty great weekend. Especially because Chris got to spend the whole weekend with us. That was pretty special.

It was wonderful to see everyone and to those we missed seeing on this trip, hopefully we’ll connect on the next one.

On a side note, we’re watching War of the Worlds (yes, the Tom Cruise version..) and seriously just as insane at the first time we saw it. Makes me want to climb into the crib with Grace and feel safe knowing that she’s with me…
