One Word.. “Huh??”

Friday, May 26th, 2006

Is anyone else as confused by the season finale of Lost as I am? Okay, so I understand that the “Others” are not the barefoot zombies they’ve previously been made out to be.. And obviously “Henry” is the top guy, even though he pretended otherwise. And so we’re confused as to what it all means. BUT what happened to Jin, Sun, and Sayid? I mean, you saw them covering their ears during that magnetic pulse… but what happened after? And what do you think will happen to Sawyer, Jack and Kate? They can kill Jack. I don’t like him. I could do without his “I’m in charge” vibe. I’m just about done with Locke. He’s annoying. But I guess we can try to guess what happened to the scottish guy and Locke too…Hmm
Anyway.. ugh. I hate summer hiatus.

Tabloid Headline of the Week

Wednesday, May 17th, 2006

Tom Cruise to pay Katie Holmes $33 million after birth of baby. I don’t really know if that is the exact quote of the headline.. Probably not. But it’s the basic idea. So, I have two theories on this alleged news. One, some pissed off employee/friend/jilted family member decided that they would try to get a piece of the TomKats action..

Two, and this has been my theory from the beginning.. Tom Cruise might really be gay and this whole thing was a cover-up to make him appear as a loving, caring husband/boyfriend/father-figure.

I doubt that either of those is correct…but here is the real problem. I hate tabloid magazines. I can’t stand that when I go to the grocery store and I am in the checkout line..I have 3 places to look..tabloids, candy/mints, or the person in front of me. That seriously bothers me. I don’t want to stare at the tabloids. I don’t give a flying rats’ ass whether Whitney Houston has a tumor or whether Richie REALLY cheated on Heather or not… But I also don’t want to look at candy.. Or the person in front of me…so the big winner? Freakin’ tabloids.

Did you ever have a bad hair day?
